🐈👀Help Find Isabel the Cat in Windsor Terrace: You have no doubt seen the flyers for Isabel the cat around the neighborhood, with at least featuring tips where neighbors thought they spotted her.
This past Saturday, Isabel’s owner Elaine Levia moved beyond flyers. “We hired professional pet trackers to help us search for Isabel,” she explained on findisabel.com. (You can see the map of where they tracked her along Prospect Park SW here.)
Then on Wednesday Levia let the Park Slope Together FB group know “she's been recently spotted… very close to Prospect Park Southwest / 10 Av. She is likely hiding because it's so cold. Please please please share with neighbors to check yards and garages every day.”
🏳🌈Brooklyn Pride Virtual Town Hall on 1/24: “Our first event of 2024 and it’s all about community involvement, so join us for this Virtual Town Hall." (7:30 PM, Virtual)
🌳Winter Corps: “Volunteers will assist in raking, minor shoveling, litter pick up, and other landscaping needs. The group meets at a different location every week. All volunteers who RSVP will receive a reminder email with the meeting location before the event.” (10:00 AM, Prospect Park)

Rite Aid on 7th Avenue and 5th Street is Closing. If you have your prescriptions there, remember that smaller local pharmacies like Neergaard and Park Chemists will be happy to serve you. [Editor’s note: Neergaard is out go-to] (Park Slope Together)
The Pet Boutique and Supplies stor on 5th Ave is Closing Friday. “I spoke to the owner this morning, his lease isn’t getting extended and he will close down in the next 5 days!” a Facebook poster wrote on Park Slope Together. “He is looking to clear his inventory. “Everything is currently 50% off.” (Park Slope Together)
Meet Park Slope's Newest Neighborhood Bistro: Hilltop Tavern: They opened last month but we were still happy to see this ideally-located PPW restaurant written up in Patch. Egg creams! (Park Slope Patch)
Closed: Paulo’s Pizza, which moved into the space left by Mike Daddy’s. Was on the bus this AM and noticed the sign had come down.
