Open Streets return to 5th Ave starting Saturday
Ribbon-Cutting @3PM in front of High Dive: 16 blocks on and around 5th Avenue will be closed every Saturday. “We really want to see people enjoying the space, having their birthday parties, and drawing chalk art, and playing and hanging out together,” Joanna Tallantire, the executive director of the 5th Avenue Business Improvement District, told Patch. I passed my umpteenth flyer for Guido and had to add him to the bottom of the newsletter.
Definitely going to base Saturday around the open streets and the petting the good dogs at the Badass festival. Doing the Derby is aspirational but appealing!
