718 Outdoors on 7th Ave, formerly 718 Cyclery, Is Leaving Its Storefront: Joe Nocera has been running the business for 16 years—he helped my husband when his chain broke outside the Gowanus store a decade ago! Now he’s focusing the business on tours, classes, and pop-ups. “This move has been 16 months in the making, and is consistent with my (and my family’s) vision for 718 Outdoors,” he wrote on IG. “More experiences, less objects. I am very excited about this!”
